Dental Technology

A revolutionary non-invasive, early oral cancer detection device that emits a safe blue light into the oral cavity to provide better visibility of soft tissues. It is used as an adjunct to intra-oral and extra-oral examinations.

An alternative to metal braces, Invisalign uses a series of clear, removable aligners to move teeth into their proper position and esthetic function, while also eliminating food traps that may contribute to periodontal disease caused by “crowded” teeth. Refined, computerized treatment planning allows the patient to play an interactive role in the desired results and achieve a beautiful smile.

Laser Dentistry

For soft tissue procedures, the dental laser is used as an adjunct for gum therapy and eliminates the need for suturing. Healing is much faster due to wound sterilization and the atraumatic effect of the laser on surrounding tissues. Lasers also aid the effectiveness of bleaching materials and reduce the time it takes to get your teeth as bright as can be.

CEREC® System

Crowns normally require multiple visits which can be inconvenient for some patients. CEREC allows us to create and place beautiful, esthetic porcelain crowns, inlays and onlays in just one visit.

Each room is equipped with this state-of-the-art patient education computer software (also on iPad) that assists in showing and teaching patients various dental procedures. It enables our patients to visualize and create a better understanding of their diagnosis and treatment. We can also email these presentations to patients in order to review with their family, friends or significant others at home!

Intra-Oral Camera

See exactly what Dr. Tsangaroulis is seeing on a chairside computer screen showing images transmitted directly from our intra-oral camera. It is a pen-sized device that allows the dentist to screen for potential problems more thoroughly and makes it possible for patients to see and understand their dental needs.

Digital Radiography

Digital xrays provide one-tenth of the amount of radiation exposure and produce immediate displays. It provides image enhancements which help in educating patients and detecting decay while it is still small. It also results in greater patient comfort and shorter treatment times.

For patients interested in a convenient way to make a noticeable improvement in their smile, Zoom!® teeth whitening is a highly effective option. It is a 1 hour laser-activated chair-side procedure where you can have teeth that are up to ten shades whiter, restoring a youthful, healthy appearance.

Telescopic Loupes

High quality optics that deliver high definition resolution, up to 4X magnification and equipped with a high-powered headlight. This provides unprecedented visibility; it enables the doctor to see things that cannot be seen with the naked eye, thus significantly enhancing quality of care.
